JumpTap is clearly embracing protecting its IP. there are at least three of the above patent applications that include geographic applications on mobile devices. location based services are going to be a huge business. in fact, Qualcomm made a billion dollar bet on this in 2000 with the acquisition of the Snap Track IP portfolio. JumpTap seems aggressive, but they are late to the party; seven years behind QCOM.
